Thought for the Day: Discipline

Discipline is a concept very few of us truly understand. Is it punishment for doing wrong? Denying the flesh into submission to the spirit?

Discipline helps us to navigate the world in a balanced and healthy way. It keep us from over eating, over indulging, being thoughtless, inconsiderate and selfish.

In all aspects of life, we must discipline ourselves according to limits and boundaries set for us or those we set for ourselves. No aspect of our life is outside the scope of discipline.

Fitness, family, finances and most assuredly faith require discipline.

What areas in your life lack limits, boundaries and discipline? Consider this in your walk daily.
