Thought of the Day: Now for Next

As believers, we sometimes treat God like that friend that we only call when we need something.

Remember, God met the man at the pond that was called beautiful. He stood at the pond daily waiting for the water to be troubled. Thus, the man hoped that he would be healed of his infirmity. He complained that every time the water was troubled, there was no one to put him in.

God asked the man, ” Are you truly ready to be blessed?”

The man responded, “Yes, I am.”

The answer to this conundrum is do not pray for a blessing and sit idly.

If you are seeking a partner, fashion your life and routine in a such a way that is conducive to another person being a part of it.

If you want out of a bad situation, plan your war strategy.

If you want to quit your job, actively seek another.

If you want to write a book, write a book.

If you want to open a business or adopt a child, do those things.

Will your life in the direction of the blessing for which you ask.
