Red Diamond Report sports contributors Jordan Crump, Perry Robinson, Corey Howard and Wilton Jackson share their prediction for the Thursday night football game that features a battle in the NFC West as the Cardinals face the Seahawks.

Wilton

The Cardinals lead the all-time series against the Seahawks, 18-17-1. However, under coach Pete Carroll, the Seahawks are 20-3-1 and 6-1 on Thursday night games, which one of those wins comes against Arizona back in 2013. Beyond the numbers, the advantage goes to the Seahawks as the Cardinals are playing with backup quarterback Drew Stanton. Cardinals running back Adrian Peterson has been playing well but against the Seahawks’ defense, he may not have the same success that he has had against other teams, forcing Stanton to make plays for a Cardinals’ win. Seahawks will defeat the Cardinals, 24-17.

Corey

The Cardinals have been struggling all year to find their offense.  Without David Johnson, the offense struggled to be consistent. The new addition of Adrian Peterson has helped bring some stability to the Cardinals, but that will not be enough against the Legion of Boom! I can’t go away from Seattle’s defense, and Russell Wilson has been playing better than any quarterback on Arizona’s sideline.  I take the Seahawks in a 23-6 victory.

Perry

The Seahawks are gaining traction, but the Rams are completely running away with the NFC West. Seattle’s hopes to another SB Title rests on securing a wildcard spot, and the Cardinals aren’t as good as their record suggests. Expect a huge day from Wilson, Baldwin, Richardson and the crew to secure a victory and keep their playoff hopes alive. Seahawks win 30-14.

Jordan

The Seahawks have not lost back-to-back games since Week 5 and Week 6 of the 2015 season, and I like their chances of continuing that trend. The Cardinals rushed Adrian Peterson on 37 attempts against the 49ers, and he rushed for over 100 yards. If he can find productivity, it may be close. However, Seahawks will win 35-27.
